Library and Information Center (LIC) is a non-business administrative entity operating under the direct authority of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), which has the mission to collect, archive, manage and provide information, scientific materials and library services for the cause of training, doing researches and implementing applications and management of VNU.
The digital repository of LIC (http://repository.vnu.edu.vn) contains more than 33,000 articles, working papers, theses, conference proceedings, textbooks … of diverse scientific fields created by VNU authors. Currently we have been building and enriching 13 new specialized collections, of which we would like to introduce to you our three featured ones:
1/ Collection of Vietnamese studies (articles on Vietnamese history, culture, law, geography, people, ways of living…)
2/ Collection of scientific studies on Buddhism and King Tran Nhan Tong (publications on Vietnamese Buddhism and King Tran Nhan Tong – the third emperor of the Tran dynasty)
3/ Collection of Ho Chi Minh Prize’s works (honorary award given by the government of Vietnam in recognition of cultural and/or scientific achievement)
